What’s Happening Now / Extra-Curricular Activities
Hello, it’s been a bit quiet of late around here. I thought I’d let you know what all the Tropics are up to and also what we have planned for the future.
First up, Robin has left. We still love him dearly and remain bestest friends but he decided he wanted to concentrate on his other bands Male Bonding and Your Twenties, both of which are pretty damn special so please check them out.
We are currently looking for a new drummer (we have a few people lined up) and are scheming on writing our debut LP and playing some more shows, hopefully including some overseas this year.
In other news I’m playing in a band called Cold Pumas (Oliver pictured above next to MF, thanks OFR) in Brighton, we’re noisy and repetitive. Matt Flag is playing in The Pharoahs / Thee Fair Ohs / Les Pharaons and they play a neat line in garage rock. Jodie Cox continues to play in Narrows and Rohame who rock and hypnotize respectfully. We are busy boys.
We’ll soon get back together to work on some heavy jams. Until then check out our other shizzles. We’ll be back very soon.
